terms of service

These terms govern your use of Resume Aura ("the app", "we", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Resume Aura. If you're between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

the service

Resume Aura is an iOS application that analyzes resume text you submit and returns a 0–100 aura score, issue highlights, suggested rewrites, and export options. The app runs entirely on your iPhone and communicates with our analysis API to compute scores and suggestions.

your content

You own the resume content you submit. By using Resume Aura, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your submissions solely for the purpose of providing the service — computing scores, generating suggestions, and returning results to your device. We do not retain submissions server-side after the response is returned. See the privacy policy for details.

acceptable use

You agree not to use Resume Aura to:

• submit illegal content or content that violates another person's rights
• submit another person's personal data without their consent
• attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the app or its API
• use automated tools to overwhelm our systems

subscriptions

Resume Aura offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. Pro is available at $6.99 per month or $39.99 per year, billed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Refunds, where applicable, are handled according to Apple's policies.

pricing changes

We may change subscription prices in the future. We'll notify you through the app before any price change takes effect, and any new price will apply to the next renewal period — never retroactively.

no guarantees

The aura score is a heuristic generated by automated analysis. It is not career advice, and Resume Aura does not guarantee any particular job outcome, interview, offer, or salary. Treat suggestions as a starting point, not a verdict.

intellectual property

The app, the Resume Aura name and mark, the "aura" brand system, the UI, the designs, the analysis engine, and all associated materials are owned by Resume Aura and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the app without written permission.

termination

We may suspend or terminate access for users who abuse the service, violate these terms, or impose undue load on our infrastructure. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your iPhone.

disclaimers

Resume Aura is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The app may experience downtime, errors, or interruptions.

limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Resume Aura's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be zero for free-tier users).

governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [JURISDICTION].

changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
