support
Real humans. No chatbots.
Need a hand with Resume Aura? Email [email protected] and a real person will get back to you, usually within one business day and always within three. Whether you are using the iPhone app or the browser-based web app at resumeaura.com/app, tell us which one you are on, your browser or iOS version, and a short description of what went wrong. The more specific, the faster we can fix it.

scans and uploads
My PDF won't upload. Resume Aura accepts PDF and DOCX files. If your file is a password-protected PDF, a scanned image (no text layer), or larger than about 10 MB, the upload will fail. Try exporting your resume from Word or Google Docs as a fresh PDF and upload that.
My scan returned an empty result or an error. This is almost always a network hiccup or a file the text extractor couldn't read. Check your connection, then try again. If it still fails, paste the resume text directly into the app instead of uploading a file — that path skips extraction entirely.
My score looks wrong. The Resume Aura score is a heuristic generated by automated analysis and can vary run-to-run. If you think something is genuinely off (e.g. the app flagged a section that clearly exists in your resume), email us a screenshot of the issue list and we'll investigate.
rewrites and chat edits
The rewrite doesn't match what I asked for. Rewrite output is generated by a large language model and can miss the mark, especially on short or ambiguous prompts. Try asking again with a more specific instruction (e.g. "make this bullet shorter and start with a verb"). You can always revert — every version is stored locally and visible from the version history screen.
I lost edits after rewriting. Open the resume's version history and restore the previous version. Nothing is overwritten silently.
exporting and sharing
Export to PDF or DOCX failed. Check your connection and try again — export routes through our API and an upstream renderer. If it keeps failing, let us know which template and which format you picked so we can reproduce it.
My shared score card looks wrong on Instagram / Twitter / iMessage. The card image is generated on demand from the share payload (score, adjective, hook, percentile). If a platform is cropping it oddly or showing a stale version, let us know which one and send a screenshot. Some social networks aggressively cache unfurls; we can help you bust the cache.
How do I delete a share I made? Open the web app or iPhone app, go to Settings → Shared results, tap the 3-dot menu, choose Select, pick the share(s) you want to remove, then tap Delete. We always confirm before deleting, and removal is immediate — the public /s/<id> link stops working as soon as you confirm.
downloads and the Resume Aura Bundle (web app)
Scanning, scoring, and rewriting are free on the web app. Downloading your polished resume as a professionally crafted PDF or DOCX is part of the optional one-time Resume Aura Bundle purchase.
How do I unlock downloads? Open resumeaura.com/app, scan a resume, then tap any download button. The app will offer to take you through Stripe Checkout. The price, currency, and accepted payment methods are shown in Checkout before you confirm.
I paid but the download is still locked. Entitlement is granted by a signed webhook from Stripe and usually arrives within a few seconds. Refresh the page or pull down to reload Settings; if the "paid" badge has not appeared within five minutes, email [email protected] with the email you used at checkout and we will sort it out.
I need a refund. Email [email protected] with the email you used at checkout and a brief description of the issue. Refunds and chargebacks are processed through Stripe; we review every request in good faith.
signing in on a new browser (email-code login)
The Resume Aura Bundle is tied to the email address you used at Stripe Checkout. To sign in on a new browser, tap any download button, choose Already bought? Log in, and enter your email. We will email a 6-digit code (delivery is handled by Amazon SES); type it back into the app and your downloads unlock again. We never send marketing email — you only get a code when you ask for one.
The code email never arrived. Check spam. Common addresses that auto-route to spam: Outlook, Yahoo, school and corporate domains. The code is valid for 10 minutes; if it expires, just request a new one. If two requests in a row fail to land, email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout.
account and data
iPhone app: there is no account. Your resumes, scores, and version history live locally on your iPhone.
Web app: there is no account for the free analysis features — they work entirely from your browser's local storage. The optional Resume Aura Bundle ties a "paid" record to the email you used at Stripe Checkout (and the Stripe session identifier) so we can recognize you on a new browser. We do not store your card number, CVC, billing address, or any other cardholder data; all of that lives at Stripe.
How do I delete my data? In the app, go to Settings → Delete all data to clear everything stored on this device (iOS SwiftData or browser localStorage / IndexedDB). To also remove server-side share records, use Settings → Shared results → Select → Delete. If you want us to remove your paid-account email from our records too, email [email protected] from that address.

bugs and feature requests
Found a bug? Email [email protected] with:
- iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About)
- Resume Aura version (shown at the bottom of the in-app Settings screen)
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- A screenshot or screen recording if you have one
Feature ideas are welcome at the same address. We read everything, even when we can't build every request.
system requirements
iPhone: iOS 17 or newer.
Web app: a recent version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Mobile browsers on iOS and Android are supported. The drop-zone and download flows require localStorage, IndexedDB, and cookies enabled for resumeaura.com.
An internet connection is required for scans, rewrites, chat edits, downloads, sharing, and email-code sign-in. Reading previously saved resumes and version history works offline.
